As you have probably noticed by now, I was decidedly not able to write everything in the blog post plan I laid out last week. The Center Cannot Hold turned out to be much longer than I expected it to be, and since I did not prepare posts on the weekend, it took most of the week just to get that together.
I’ve had lots to keep me busy this weekend, too. Intersection Thirteen is nearing readiness for publication, and I’m also doing a lot of editing on Chronicles of Ytria as well.
As if that weren’t enough, I found myself thinking through a project called The Ghost King that’s been simmering for almost three years now, and I achieved a breakthrough. I completed the outline this weekend along with the first chapter. After doing so, however, I forced myself to turn my attention back to editing my other two projects, and I managed to focus on editing both of those, difficult as that was.
This week, I’m going to continue to dump energy into my fiction, so the blog is on hiatus for at least another seven days. I’ll be back with some updates in a week’s time.
