The weekly preview this week is that there is no weekly preview.

I actually have a backlog of blog posts, but I’ve decided to take a break from blogging this week and get through the final push on the editing pass for my upcoming story collection, Chronicles of Ytria. Next week, you can look forward to a professionally wrought map for Ytria, some notes about my inspiration for each of its stories, and a post about my most recent story, Adaptive Response, in particular.

I’ve also gotten a jump on the reading plan I posted last week. I’ve finished The Eye of the Heron and Changing Planes by Ursula K Le Guin, so expect critiques of those. And, I’m currently in the middle of This Census-Taker by China Miéville, so a critique for that will likely appear as well.
